ISS helps raise more than £100,000 for The One Foundation

Food facility services provider ISS has helped raise more than £100,000 for water charity The One Foundation.

The One Foundation aims to ensure everyone has access to clean, safe water and uses money from donations, fundraising and profits from water bottle sales to help raise funds. The One Foundation’s goal was to raise £20m by 2020, which would help change the lives of more than 3.6m people.

The money raised by ISS was part of The One Foundation’s drinks campaign, where companies can stock and sell a range of One Water bottles. Money raised from the drinks sales will be used by the foundation to provide a range of services, from water and sanitation programmes to pump repair, community training and school feeding programmes.

Following the campaigns success, the new goal is to raise £50 million by 2030. “We’re absolutely thrilled that ISS has raised an incredible £100,000 for our clean water and sanitation projects,” says Duncan Goose, founder of The One Foundation. “With ISS’ help, we’ve been able to reach communities living below the poverty line and bring them a sustainable clean water supply. We’re extremely grateful for ISS’ support and look forward to continuing the partnership and reaching more people in need.”

ISS has several food service divisions, including education, which helps nearly 400 schools across the UK serve healthier and more sustainable food.
